At PBR HAWAII, Ms. Pang has managed and assisted on a variety of projects including preparation of Environmental Impact Statements/ Environmental Assessments and various permits for both government and private projects, GIS mapping and analysis, preparation of State and Federal environmental documents, and land use and regional infrastructure planning. Relevant recent and ongoing projects at PBR include project management for the Pūlehunui Regional Infrastructure Master Plan involving infrastructure needs of multiple State stakeholders, HCDA Development Permits, and multiple EAs and workforce housing communities on Maui including the Makila Farms 201H Workforce Housing Community and DHHL Honokōwai Master Plan.
Ms. Pang’s professional experience and graduate work on urban coastal issues complement her educational background in the natural sciences. Her graduate studies included clinics and course work in Applied Urban Ecology, Coastal Urban Resilience, Sustainable Design & Planning, and Caribbean Coastal Development. Ms. Pang’s masters thesis involved design of a hydrogeological experiment and community outreach study for a coastal, urban stormwater garden and historic wetland restoration.
