Kimi Yuen, LEED® AP BD+C


As a Principal with PBR HAWAII, Ms. Yuen manages a variety of planning and design projects as well as the successful preparation of land use permits, environmental assessments and environmental impact statements. Her work includes a diverse range of regional land planning projects, the development of master planned communities, botanical gardens and park projects, campus planning and educational specifications, long-range planning, urban design, and community design guidelines. On Kaua'i, Ms. Yuen worked closely with the County on the Lïhu'e Town Core Urban Design Plan which won County Council approval in March 2010.

She has testified in front of various commissions and councils on behalf of clients and is actively involved in several professional organizations including the American Planning Association, Urban Land Institute, and the US Green Building Council. She is also a member of the University of Hawai'i Department of Urban and Regional Planning Professional Council.
