Kā‘anapali 2020

PBR HAWAII created the Kā‘anapali 2020 Master Plan with input from a Community Advisory Committee, community-wide conferences, and many meetings. The plan focused on conserving the environment of the mauka lands, planning a village community with agriculture preserves, and creating resort plans containing golf courses and residential and commercial uses. Green spaces of the open gulches, agriculture preserves, parks, and cultural buffers interlace this eclectic mix of land uses. In addition, a network of alternate transportation modes including bike paths, pedestrian walkways, and a trolley system link the divergent areas.
