PBR HAWAII assisted Kamehameha Schools on Kaua‘i and O‘ahu to identify which of its agricultural lands as should be designated as Important Agricultural Lands (IAL). To determine IAL, PBR HAWAII prepared and Agricultural Lands Assessments using GIS. The work was then used to support a State Land Use Commission Petition for Declaratory Order to designate the identified lands as IAL.
