The proposed Kapi‘olani Community College (KCC) Improvements to Outdoor Learning Spaces project serves to efficiently implement outdoor learning spaces at two locations on the KCC campus – at the ʻIliahi Courtyard and at the Manono-Mānele Buildings. Proposed improvements include a bifacial photovoltaic (PV) shade structure, overhead fabric sunshade canopy, landscaping, and other non-structural improvements. The project also includes repair and replacement of a portion of the roof at the Lama Library. PBR HAWAII prepared and submitted applications for multiple land use entitlements, including an SMA Minor Modification, PRU Minor Modification, and Special District Permit – Minor.
