For Kōlea, a resort community within the Waikoloa Beach Resort, PBR HAWAII designed the landscape, hardscape, and planting to create a lush, tropical ocean-front environment, while retaining many of the natural site features. Cultural artifacts such as existing petroglyphs were preserved and integrated into the design to create a sense of place.
