PBR HAWAII prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Sand Island Business Association’s (SIBA) proposed project to develop a 1.29-acre parcel of land owned by the State of Hawai‘i DLNR with an approximately 2,000 square-foot office building and parking lot. The office building is intended for use by SIBA and will replace the existing temporary office trailer. The much-needed parking spaces are intended to serve both the SIBA office as well as overflow employee parking for SIBA tenants. The proposed Project would also generate parking revenue to assist with development costs, lease rent, and real property taxes for the non-profit organization.
