
Planner
As a planner at PBR HAWAII, Mareé assists in preparing environmental review documents and graphic-based planning reports. She has a strong foundation in analysis, data communication, and public engagement. Born and raised on Oʻahu, Mareé is committed to resilient, place-based, community centered planning.
Recent and ongoing projects include the Nā Ala Hele Trail & Access Program Plan Update, Mililani High School Teacher Workforce Housing EA and 201H application, and World War I Natatorium Memorial SMA and SSV applications. Mareé takes pride in contributing to projects that serve her community and the environment she grew up in. She cares deeply about being thoughtful in every step of the planning and development process.
Prior to joining PBR HAWAII, Mareé worked on a variety of planning projects in Bellingham during her time at Western Washington University. These projects focused on community-based planning and utilized data to inform decision-making. Projects included the creation of a comprehensive urban village plan for a neighborhood in Bellingham, an environmental justice mapping outreach project, developing schematics for a cottage housing development, updating Mount Vernon’s Comprehensive Plan, and a research study detailing housing needs in Washington. Her education provided her with proficiency in Adobe Suite Programs, ArcGIS, and multiple programing languages. Mareé has also experienced other facets of planning, working as a carpenter on housing developments in Bellingham and Seattle.
