Associate Principal
At PBR HAWAII, Ms. Razo specializes in master planning, community engagement and facilitation, and site planning. Her responsibilities include program and spatial analysis, as well as preparing documents necessary for filing of environmental assessments. She has been involved in a number of transit-oriented development (TOD) projects for both public and private sector clients along the Honolulu Rail Transit Project’s corridor, including planning within the vicinity of the East Kapolei, UH West O‘ahu, Waipahu Transit Center, Middle Street Transit Center, Lagoon Drive, Kapālama, Iwilei and Chinatown transit stations.
Previously, during Graduate studies, she undertook extensive work with the Kawaihae Homestead Community in organizing community meetings, developing a visioning document and creating an initial programming/spatial analysis for a proposed community center as well as working with the Catholic Diocese to assess their existing food ministry programs and its strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for creating a sustainable program. During her time at the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center, she focused on community and building resilience to develop a FEMA certified training course for hurricane preparedness, mitigation strategies, and disaster recovery.
